I am a doctoral student at National University. I am conducting a research study to explore former graduate student experiences with faculty and cohort diversity in accredited Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) Masters programs.
I am recruiting individuals who meet all of these criteria:

You are age 18 or older.
-
You are a graduate of a Marriage and Family Therapy Masters program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Marriage and Family Therapy Education AND you graduated after April 2022.
-
You graduated with a cohort (you had a group of other students who moved through the MFT program with you and graduated together).
-
You are now in clinical practice.
Voices & Views Former Graduate Student Experiences
with Faculty and Cohort Diversity in
Accredited Marriage and Family Therapy Programs
During these activities, you will be asked questions about:
-
Your graduation year, MFT program type and accreditation status (list provided), and whether you graduated with a cohort;
-
Your experiences in the MFT cohort program with faculty and cohort members;
-
Your perception about the intersection of faculty and cohort diversity with your own cultural identity;
-
Your observations and reflection on any impact of faculty and cohort diversity in your development as a clinician.
Participants who complete this study will receive a $75 Amazon gift card via email after transcript review has been confirmed.

If you decide to participate in this study, you will be asked to do the following activities:

Participate in an interview via Zoom for approximately 35-45 minutes.

Review a transcript of you interview and make any needed corrections (estimated 10 minutes).
